What Is A Proxy

A proxy is a server that acts as an intermediary between your device and the internet. When you use a proxy, your traffic is routed through it—so websites see the proxy's IP address instead of yours.

In botting, proxies are used to:

  • Avoid IP bans/rate limits (sites detect too many requests from one IP)

  • Run multiple tasks/accounts at once

  • Mimic traffic from different locations or users

What Is An ISP Proxy?

An ISP proxy uses real residential IPs that are hosted on data center infrastructure.

  • Static IPs (don't rotate)

  • Fast speeds (almost like data center proxies)

  • Look like real home users (less likely to get banned)

  • More stable and trusted than datacenter proxies

  • Good for sneaker botting, retail drops, and low-ban environments

What Is A Residental Proxy?

A residential proxy uses IP addresses assigned to real people’s home internet (from ISPs), usually rotated through a proxy network.

  • Rotate IPs frequently (dynamic)

  • High trust level with websites

  • Often slower than ISP or DC proxies

  • Can be metered (charged per GB)

What Is A DC(Datacenter) Proxy?

A DC proxy is a proxy that comes from a datacenter server—not an actual residential internet connection.

  • Captcha solvers

  • Testing bots

  • Cheap mass tasking

  • Sites with weak protection
